About Essentos

Terminal operating
software company

Essentos is a terminal operating software company focused on the daily reality of logistics terminals, intermodal terminals and inland terminals. We build a modular terminal operating system that runs the operation with continuity, control and traceability, connecting what happens at the gate, in the yard and on the rail side with rules per role and evidence per event.

Our focus is not the deck or the demo. Our focus is the shift: queues that build because the criterion is missing, yards that lose coherence when occupancy rises, rail windows that break because the call came too late, paperwork that arrives without context, and service closeouts that have to be rebuilt after the trucks have left.

Results observed in comparable terminal operations

0%
Visibility and operational control

Improvement in real-time tracking and operational control inside the terminal.

0%
Non-value moves

Reduction in rehandles and unnecessary movements across yard and loading areas.

0%
Friction from manual validation

Reduction in manual coordination steps and repeated confirmations between teams.

Note: Ranges observed in our internal studies across customers with comparable operations. Improvement depends on the baseline, cargo mix and level of integration.

What do we build?

We help terminals execute better: one operating truth, clear processes, and traceability that supports decisions before the move, not after it.

Why a modular terminal operating system company exists

In most terminal operations the cost is not one big failure. It is the small things that keep repeating: manual validations, crossed calls, retries, searches, "confirmations" and decisions that arrive after the cargo has moved.

That is not solved by more people or more hardware alone. It is solved with an operating layer that connects milestones and keeps work moving on criterion rather than improvisation.

That is why Essentos exists as a cargo-centric operating layer that integrates with what the terminal already runs: a core that organizes execution and connects with the customer's broader ecosystem.

One core, one connected ecosystem

A terminal is not an isolated system. It lives alongside ERP and billing, EDI, PCS, weighbridges, license plate readers, customer portals and third-party solutions.

Essentos is built to coexist and connect. The objective is simple: the customer should not have to throw away what already works in order to operate better. Essentos organizes execution and the surrounding environment integrates around it with consistency.

How do we work?

We follow a very practical principle: first understand the operation, then map the fit.

  • We listen to the daily flow and the places where continuity breaks down
  • We translate that into simple rules by role and by milestone
  • We integrate what is needed with the existing ecosystem
  • We support adoption so the change shows up in day-to-day execution

We are not chasing endless projects. We are chasing stable operations.

What does "stable operations" mean?

When a terminal is stable, you can feel it on the ground:

  • The gate moves with criterion, not improvisation
  • The yard holds coherence even under pressure
  • The rail side is prepared with real visibility and fewer late adjustments
  • Documentation appears with context and stops slowing the work down
  • Service closeout is prepared through traceability, not reconstruction

That stability is capacity. And capacity is revenue.

Who is Essentos for?

Essentos fits terminals and operations where operational control matters across Spain, Europe and the United States:

  • Intermodal terminals and inland terminals
  • Container depots and yards
  • Multipurpose terminals handling containers, bulk and general cargo
  • Mixed operations with products such as steel coils, paper reels, timber, vehicles, machinery or project cargo

Shall we talk about your operation?

If you want to evaluate Essentos, the first step is understanding how you operate today: what flows do you run, what is slowing you down, and what do you need to protect most (outbound flow, the rail window, capacity, or control)?
